Winemaking traditions often begin around the table. Brutocao Cellars' roots go back three generations to a Venice, Italy dinner table. When the Brutocao family came to the New World and married into the Bliss family of farmers, it was only natural that they would combine their passions and become grape growers and winemakers. Grandfather Irv Bliss purchased our Mendocino County property in 1943. The Brutocao family released their first wine with the 1980 vintage. Shortly thereafter, they chose the Lion of St. Mark, modeled after the lion on top of St. Mark's Cathedral in Venice, Italy, as their symbol of family tradition and quality. That quality comes from the location of their 400 acres of vineyards in southern Mendocino County. The Brutocao family tradition of serving wine at the table means wines are produced with good food and good friends in mind.

The founders of Dogwood Cellars believe the only thing better than sharing a great bottle of wine with friends is making a great bottle of wine with friends.

The Graziano Family has been making wine and growing grapes in Mendocino County since 1918. Greg Graziano is a third generation winemaker who has established four distictive labels, one for Burgundian-style Pinots, one for old-vine Zinfandel and Petite Sirah and two for grapes of Italian hertage. The Graziano tasting room is located in the bucolic town of Hopland, CA.

Nestled in the Mayacamas Mountains of southeastern Mendocino County, McDowell Valley Vineyards was established in 1970. Our vineyard has one of the longest records of continuous wine grape production in California. Syrah and Grenache have been planted on this soil for almost a century, when the Buckman Family made a perfect match in planting Syrah and Grenache vines in the McDowell Valley.
McFadden Vineyard has been family owned and operated since 1970 in Potter Valley, where Guinness McFadden has been farming organically for 37 years. The warm days and cold nights of Potter Valley give our wines exceptional character and flavor, and meticulous care of the soil enables us to produce top quality grapes year after year. We began producing our wine in 2003 after many years selling our grapes to top wineries in the Napa, Sonoma, and Mendocino Counties. We are still a boutique winery producing fewer than 2,000 cases of quality wine this year. From our award winning Riesling (silver medal) to our Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel and Sauvignon Blanc (all bronze medal winners).
McNab Ridge Winery combines the pioneering wine-making spirit of John Parducci with the new tradition and vitality of Rich Parducci. Rich makes wine in the style made famous by this grandfather: complex, approachable, and enjoyable to drink. " We make wine that gets people to ask for a second glass" says Rich. McNab Ridge wines are made with Mendocino County fruit.

The Milano Family Winery is located in an original, old Hop Kiln on Hwy. 101 near the Russian River just south of the town of Hopland in Southern Mendocino County. Selecting the finest grapes from local vineyards we produce hand crafted, limited bottlings of Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, Carignane, Charbono, Valdiguie, and Port. Our winery is small enough so that we can pamper each individual barrel. We produce some organic wines and are a CCOF organically certified winery.

The key to making world class wines is to start with world class grapes. All our wines are estate grown in order to assure the highest quality. We have the luxury of choosing only the best grapes from our top vineyards to produce the wines our family is so proud of. We sincerely believe in our motto that “Great wines are born in the vineyard.”
